Be More Organized Than You Ever Imagined
Are you tired of all the clutter? Do you feel like you're
drowning in paper? Is your schedule so full you can't get
a minute for yourself?
You're not alone. Millions of people share the 'I would
love to be organized' dream.
Disorganization can actually trap you into living a life
filled with stress, frustration and chaos. It can rob you
of the precious time you should be spending enjoying your
life. But by overcoming disorganization, you can be set
free to live the kind of life you've always dreamed of.
Sound overwhelming? If so, I have great news for you.
Being organized does not require you to perform time-
consuming, complicated systems. It is not rocket science.
It is not something that's going to take you years of
soul-searching to start. It's not something that only
some lucky people are capable of having.
Just a few small organizing tips--a few little, teeny-
tiny tips, applied with a positive attitude, can help you
be more organized today, than you were yesterday.
Where do you find these teeny-tiny tips? We have just
the place. Visit:

Little Things Make a Big Difference
Are you always looking for some time to sit down and read
that latest book from the library, or watch a special
program on TV? If so, here are a few hints to help you
arrange that time.
1. When preparing your meals, clean up as you go, washing
by hand or putting appropriate items right into the
dishwasher. Put away ingredients that need to be stored
in the refrigerator or pantry immediately after you use
them.
2. Take out your clothes the night before work or school.
This way you don't waste valuable time in the morning
looking for the right thing to wear. If you can, choose
the entire week's worth of clothes for the little ones
who can dress themselves or have them choose. No more
morning arguments over what to wear.
3. Fill up your gas tank when it hits the quarter of a
tank level. In case of a delay in traffic, you won't have
to worry about running out of gasoline.
4. Have a routine each week for the days you do errands
and shopping. It will save you gasoline since you won't
have to keep running out for forgotten items. A shopping
list is a MUST, and bring coupons if you use them.
5. Put the perishable groceries in the refrigerator right
away directly out of the grocery bags, rather than
placing them on the counter first. Wash and cut fruits
and veggies before putting them away. Enlist the kids to
put away the canned goods.
6. Cook some meats ahead of time and store in the
freezer. For those nights you are too busy to start from
scratch, this will help you get dinner on the table in
a jiffy.

7. Pick a regular day each week to do your bills or any
desk-related items. If you don't have bills that week,
work on your budget or bank statement. With debit cards ,
and a few people in the family using them, just a bit
of disorganization can lead to overdrafts. Avoid this
at all costs.
8. If you are comfortable having bills paid online, sign
up for this service. Mark your calendar on what
particular day the bills will be paid so you can keep
track of what's happening.
9. When making appointments, mark your calendar right
away--along with any necessary contact information. If
something changes or you have questions, you'll have the
information you need to call right there with the date
and time of the appointment.
10. Have the family work on planning the weekly agenda,
so that there is no one left in the rain waiting for a
ride. Try and arrange car pools with other family members
and friends whenever possible.
11. Have colors for each family member for towels,
toothbrushes, hair care items and more. It can save a lot
of time and prevent confusion. Even match the hampers and
baskets if possible.
12. Have a place for tote bags and items that are needed
every day for various classes and activities, and fill
these bags with needed items so you can just 'grab and
go.' For example:
Library Bag: When books are read, everyone places the
books back into this bag and you can just grab it and
take it with you to return.
Dancing school/and or Music lessons Bag: Include all the
costumes, shoes, tights, socks, books, instruments, music
and other necessities.
Overnight Bag: Inside, store an extra toothbrush and
underwear, pjs, small toiletries, a travel hair dryer, an
extra hair brush, slippers, a wrinkle-free outfit for the
next day and socks. Do this for the kids too, so if
grandma or grandpa are missing your little ones they can
be ready in no time.
If you do some or all of these items you will be finding
that extra time to do the things you enjoy. You will also
feel like you are more in control.

An Organizing Tip From One Of Our Readers
At the time my youngest son was 4 years old, we traveled
to California for vacation. He was just starting to learn
to dress himself.
Instead of packing his pants, shorts, socks and underwear
together, I used 2-gallon size Ziploc plastic bags to
pack each day's outfit.
I was amazed at how much easier it made dressing him
every day.
1) I was able to pull out a bag and hand it to him to get
dressed, as opposed to digging through the suitcase to
find a pair of underwear, socks, a shirt and shorts.
2) I didn't have to rummage through the suitcase to find
a matching top and bottom.
3) With the air compressed out of the bags before
sealing, his clothes packed down much more compactly.
4) There was no chance of his clothes becoming wrinkled.
Of course, that last benefit matters to his mom a whole
lot more than it does to him!.
I only wish someone made 10-gallon Ziploc bags for the
rest of the family!

avoiding divorce and staying together if your marriage is
miserable -- or leaves a lot to be desired?
By virtue of simply being your husband's wife -- the

An Organizing Tip From One Of Our Readers
I organize my kitchen into zones and use inexpensive,
plastic Lazy Susans to keep everything organized.
1) a double tiered one for smaller baking items, like
vanilla, cornstarch, molasses, honey, baking powder and
baking soda.
2) one for my coffee area for the coffee grinder and
canned teas.
3) one for my vitamins and medication.
4) a double tier one for spices, vinegars and olive oils.
5) one in a cupboard by the stove for salt, pepper, hot
sauce and other condiments.
These make reaching and getting to needed items so much
faster and easier--especially if you are short and need
to store items up high.
They are great, give them a try!

Window Washing Tips and Tricks
by Steve Hanson
Give your windows that crystal clear image that can be
seen inside and out. Before getting started, make sure
you have the right equipment:
A) Professional squeegee and applicator.
B) Window bucket.
C) Dish soap (yes, that's all you need).
D) Microfiber cloths or chamois.
Steps to washing windows:
1) Prepare your solution in the window bucket by adding a
small amount of dish soap to cool water.
2) Dip applicator in bucket, wring out excess water, and
then scrub the window.
3) Position squeegee in the upper left corner of the
window. Let the squeegee glide down the glass quickly and
smoothly.
4) Dry the squeegee rubber after each stroke.
5) To make the next pass, ensure the dry side of the
squeegee overlaps the dry side of the window by about 1
or 2 inches. Continue that motion for the width of the
window.
6) Use microfiber cloth or chamois to wipe the edges and
frames.
7) Move on to the next window.

Happy Customer!
I received the filing system today and have started to
label and organize my files. I hesitated to get it,
because, after all, why should I pay for file folder labels
when I could just write out my own?
After receiving the booklet and labels, I'm so grateful
that the organizing work has been done for me. This system
is very well thought-out and is a breeze to implement.
I look forward to having a workable filing system for all
my papers within a few days, after many months of shuffling
stacks of papers that just seem to get bigger and more
disorganized.
Thank you so much for developing this system--it is well
worth the money and then some!
